Cancellation and refund policy
Plain rules for trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds on paid Permenta plans. Last updated 24 September 2026.
Trial
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, once per workspace. A valid payment method is required to start it. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is ever charged.
Renewal
After the trial, the plan is charged for the first month or year and renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. We email a reminder before an annual renewal.
How to cancel
Cancel at any time from the workspace’s billing settings, where the change takes effect immediately, or by email to hello@permenta.com from the workspace owner’s address. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The workspace continues on the free plan with its records intact, subject to the free plan’s limits; you can export everything at any time.
Refunds
Fees for a billing period already started are not refunded for unused time. We do refund in full where we charged you in error, where the Service was unavailable for a material part of a period through our fault, and wherever the law of your country requires it. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; upgrades are charged on a prorated basis for the remainder of the period. Refunds go back to the original payment method within ten business days.
Consumers
The Service is offered to businesses. If you nonetheless purchase as a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies. Because paid plans begin with a free trial, withdrawing during the first 14 days costs nothing; if you withdraw after the first charge, you pay only for the part of the service used up to withdrawal.
Delivery
The Service is delivered online, immediately, at the moment a plan is activated. Nothing is shipped.
